Causticizing-mercerizing of woven fabric is carried out for several purposes, and it can vary according to the specific requirement of each customer. This process is needed to clean the fibres, to improve the lustre of fabric, the ability of yarns to absorb the dyestuffs during the dyeing process, improve the stability of fabrics and improve the hand touch of fabric.
